Missions Luncheon

  • New Life Fellowship 201 E. Sublett Road Arlington, TX 76018 United States (map)

On Saturday, February 18, 2023, from 11:30 - 1:30, we'd like to invite you to join us here at the church for our Missions Luncheon. This will be an opportunity to hear more about how you can either support and or participate in short-term mission opportunities.

We will also talk about our upcoming short-term mission trip scheduled for the summer of 2023. We will have the dates, the location, and the cost, along with any of the documentation that will be required.

In Matthew 28:19-20 and in Acts 1:8, we read that Jesus is instructing us to Go out and make disciples….to go out and be His witnesses. Missions have always been an important element in God’s program for His people and for His Kingdom. We need to be mission-minded, no matter if it is at home, in our community, around our nation, or throughout the world. Many people have a limited idea as to what individuals do on the mission field. There are so many things that are needed that you can employ your spiritual gifts towards to meet the needs of the people. Working with children, doing light construction, helping with VBS, and distributing food and supplies to various churches, orphanages, and villages. You are the hands, feet, and heart of the Lord, and through your service, you proclaim the gospel, train His saints, and meet the needs of the people.

On February 18th, we will have a mission luncheon here at the church from 11:30am to 1:30pm. There will be a biblical and theological presentation concerning missions, along with several guests from overseas, including Dr. Isaias Uaene, the president of the Center for Leadership Development in the country of Mozambique. He and the other guests will share all that is happening in their countries and how you can participate in the work that the Lord is doing in this area of the world. We would love for you to meet our friends and for them to meet you. This will be an opportunity to hear more about how you can either support and or participate in short-term mission opportunities. You will also learn more about our upcoming short-term mission trip in the summer of 2023. We will have the dates, the location, and the cost, along with any of the documentation that would be required. The luncheon is free; however, we’re asking you to register on our church website so we can cater the event accordingly.
