Which Bible Version?
Although there is only one Bible, there are many versions. What do we mean by a version? Version means translation. Essentially, the Old Testament is written in Hebrew and the New Testament is written in Greek. English translators converted the Bible from its original language to English and the same is true for other languages around the world. Different versions have their own emphasis. Some for example are designed to be more devotional when read, others more periphrastic, and yet others more literal.
Pastor Pugh preaches from the New American Standard Bible (NASB) which is regarded as one of the more literal versions of the original Greek and Hebrew languages. If you desire to follow along more closely with what Pastor reads, the NASB is his translation of choice.
